Lecture snapshot

Bret Finlay will discuss how microbes in and on us (called the microbiome) impact on both helathy aging and disease. This is a new and exciting concept to healthy aging, and, because microbes can be easily altered, there are things that one can do to promote healthy aging through the microbiome. These impact areas including dementia and Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular disease, menopause, and many other areas that we previously had no idea would be influenced by microbes.
